Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Our core machine learning team at GoDaddy applies large-scale data to power various business areas, aiming to build a cohesive navigation experience and improve shopping for entrepreneurs. This role involves building best-in-class personalization to offer relevant products and prices. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate complex ML projects, collaborate with internal partners, communicate results, and mentor junior scientists, directly impacting millions of customers and business results.

Must Have

• Provide technical leadership
• Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks
• Coordinate large scale and complex machine learning projects in production
• Cooperate with various teams to define project scope, goals, and success metrics
• Collaborate extensively with internal partners, program management, and engineering team
• Communicate results in a comprehensible manner to all levels of the company
• 3+ years of industrial experience in deep learning and software development
• Strong algorithm design skills
• Hands-on experience with Deep Neural Network technologies, LLMs, and agentic AI
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Experience with machine learning platforms (e.g., PyTorch) and AWS
• Familiarity with large-scale data analytics (e.g., Spark)
• MS or PhD or equivalent experience in computer science or a related quantitative field

What you'll get to do...

• You will provide technical leadership, identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks and incorporate them into the team's workflow and processes.
• You will coordinate large scale and complex machine learning projects in production and cooperate with various teams to define project scope, goals, and success metrics.

• You will communicate results in a comprehensible manner to all levels of the company.
• You will mentor junior scientists in the team.

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of industrial experience in deep learning and software development, with strong algorithm design skills.
• Hands-on experience with Deep Neural Network technologies, LLMs, and agentic AI.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with machine learning platforms (e.g., PyTorch) and AWS.
• Familiarity with large-scale data analytics (e.g., Spark) and an MS or PhD or equivalent experience in computer science or a related quantitative field is required.
