Senior ServiceNow Engineer

GoDaddy is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer in India to advance their career in a world-class team. This remote role involves crafting the future of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional performance. Key responsibilities include building customized applications, modules, workflows, and integrations, configuring ServiceNow objects, connecting with third-party systems, partnering with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience and a deep understanding of core modules.

Must Have

• 5+ years of proven experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
• Deep knowledge of core modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Asset Management
• Hands-on experience crafting and developing custom ServiceNow solutions such as prioritised applications, Angular/React components, and REST APIs
• Skilled in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and other scripting languages
• Experience integrating ServiceNow into GitHub Actions pipelines and managing version control through GitHub
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices
• Applying ITIL/ITSM frameworks to ensure efficient delivery and alignment with organisational processes
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimise performance, and maintain high-quality standards
• Ability to mentor junior developers and manage multiple priorities independently

What you'll get to do...

• Build customised applications, modules, workflows, and integrations in ServiceNow to meet complex business needs
• Configure fields, forms, client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and other ServiceNow objects while adhering to development standards
• Connect ServiceNow with third-party systems and APIs for seamless data exchange and improved platform performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, DevOps, architects, and business units like IT, HR, and Finance to align requirements, offer technical mentorship, and drive adoption
• Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and optimise ServiceNow’s performance, scalability, and stability through proactive maintenance
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, apply version control, and enforce coding standards and guidelines

Your experience should include...
