Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure.

What you will do:

• Architect and maintain the infrastructure powering Ricardo.ch, Tutti.ch, and Anibis.ch using Terraform for the infrastructure as code management as well as Kubernetes and Helm for efficient orchestration.
• Develop internal tooling to streamline the workflow of software engineers and enhance our product evolution, improving CI/CD via automated pipelines for fast, reliable delivery.
• Act as an enabler for the Engineering team, facilitating improvements to our products in a DevOps approach.
• Stay abreast of current trends in technology and leverage them to enhance our products
• Performance monitoring and optimisation for a smooth user experience and optimized costs.

Qualifications

The role of an SRE is multifaceted, and expertise can vary across different domains. While proficiency in all areas is not expected, familiarity with some of the following tools and technologies is desirable:

• Experience with Go development
• Proficiency in Kubernetes
• Familiarity with GCP/AWS or any other cloud provider
• Knowledge of Istio for service mesh management
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus (Mimir/Cortex), Tempo, and Loki
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as CircleCI or Github Actions
• Familiarity with Cloudflare for optimizing performance and security
