Senior Software Engineer

The Product Delivery Group at BOLD seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own the technical execution of cutting-edge web products. This role involves analyzing requirements, developing and maintaining scalable Drupal solutions, optimizing back-end databases, integrating third-party APIs, and collaborating with front-end teams. The engineer will ensure highly optimized and performant web applications for brands like MyPerfectResume.com, focusing on customer-centric solutions and best practices.

Must Have

• Analyze website and application requirements to deliver scalable Drupal-based solutions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules and themes following best practices.
• Build and optimize back-end portals with well-structured, high-performing databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and code issues across Drupal environments.
• Integrate data storage solutions, third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.), and external services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration with Drupal back-end.
• Finalize, test, and deploy new Drupal features and web applications.
• Upgrade, update, and enhance Drupal core, contributed modules, and custom features.
• Strong expertise in LAMP/WAMP stack with solid MySQL database management.
• In-depth knowledge of Drupal 8/9/10, including custom module and theme development.
• Familiarity with headless Drupal, RESTful APIs, and JSON:API, GraphQl.
• Proficiency in PHP (OOPs concepts), performance optimization, and debugging.
• Experience with Linux variants and shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of jQuery/JavaScript, RESTful services, and AJAX in Drupal context.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM methodologies and Drupal’s SEO modules.
• Experience using version control systems (Git, SVN, or Mercurial).
• Familiarity with Drupal site building, Views, and content architecture.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with effective collaboration abilities.
• 4.5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer.

Good to Have

• Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, Twig templating.

As part of Product Delivery Group you will be working on any of our brands like MyPerfectResume.com, Resume-Now.com, LiveCareer.com which provide users with access to tools and resources to help them create and customize resumes, cover letters, and job applications. The team is responsible for delivering highly optimized and highly performant web applications using some of the latest technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, PHP etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Analyze website and application requirements to deliver scalable Drupal-based solutions.
