Senior Software Engineer-.Net

The BOLD Platform services team designs, creates, manages, and maintains highly scalable and distributed services for web and mobile applications, utilizing a Microservices architecture for visitor tracking, user profiles, authentication, content, and payments. The team employs modern technologies like .Net framework, Python, Java, SQL Server, My SQL, Graph DB, and SOLR. This Senior Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET Framework, collaborating with various teams, mentoring junior engineers, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure high-quality, secure, and performant solutions.

Must Have

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET Framework
• Experience with web development, familiarity with Javascript/Typescript & CSS
• Experience with popular front-end frameworks, preferably React
• Experience in Reactive programming
• Ensure applications are highly available, secure, and performant
• Collaborate with DevOps, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET Framework
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EKS, Auto Scaling, API Gateway, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

Good to Have

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Opentelemetry, Jenkins)
• Experience with security best practices in AWS
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET Framework

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
