Generative AI Research Intern

Level Infinite, Tencent's global gaming brand, is seeking a Generative AI Research Intern. This role involves supporting research and development in areas such as image/video generation, world models, streamer generation, scene generation, multimodal visual language models (VLMs), and Agentic AI. The intern will assist with data preparation, model training, and experimental analysis for large-scale generative AI projects, contributing innovative ideas and integrating research outcomes into game production scenarios, while collaborating closely with senior researchers to explore cutting-edge directions in digital content generation and interactive intelligent agents.

Must Have

• PhD or Master's student in computer vision, computer graphics or related majors
• Familiarity with common generative models
• Solid deep learning foundation
• Basic experience in image or video data processing
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Experience in deep learning model training or fine-tuning for image or video
• Familiarity with PyTorch, Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine
• Published research results in mainstream AI or computer conferences/journals
• Passion for creativity, innovation, and AI applications in gaming

What the Role Entails

• Support research and development work in areas such as image generation and beautification, video generation (world models), streamer generation, scene generation, multimodal visual language models (VLMs), and Agentic AI.
• Assist with data preparation, model training, and experimental analysis in large-scale generative AI projects.
• Participate in project discussions, propose innovative ideas, and promote the integration of research results with game production scenarios.
• Work closely with senior researchers to jointly explore cutting-edge directions in digital content generation and interactive intelligent agents.

Who We Look For

Basic Requirements

• PhD or Master's student in computer vision, computer graphics or related majors, familiar with common generative models.
• Solid deep learning foundation, with basic experience in image or video data processing.
• Strong interest in the application of generative AI in interactive entertainment and virtual world construction.
• Possess good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Conditions

• Experience in deep learning model training or fine-tuning for image or video.
• Familiarity with relevant tools such as PyTorch, Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
• Published research results in mainstream AI or computer conferences/journals.
