The role involves designing and producing large-scale close-combat search-and-destroy levels, ensuring final quality. This includes drawing 2D layouts, efficiently building 3D whiteboxes using engine tools, designing and implementing level prototypes, and continuously optimizing the level experience. The Level Lead will also coordinate with programming, art, and narrative teams throughout the production process and iterate on level design based on test data and feedback.
Must Have
- 5+ years of level development experience
- 3+ years of experience in designing complete maps and gameplay from a 3D perspective
- Proficient in using mainstream engines for level whitebox construction
- Able to quickly create level prototypes
- Responsible for at least one complete single-gameplay design and development
- Experienced in gameplay structure, movement design, and mechanics
- 300+ hours of experience playing search-and-destroy games
- Good grasp of the core points of search-and-destroy gameplay
Good to Have
- Experience with UE large map pipeline and basic Blueprint
- Familiarity with UE engine
- Experience in multiplayer PVP gameplay map development

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the design and production of close-combat search-and-destroy large-map levels, and accountable for the final level quality.
2. Draw 2D level layouts, efficiently build 3D whiteboxes using engine tools, design and implement level prototypes, and continuously optimize the level experience.
3. Follow up on the entire level production process, coordinate with programming, art, and narrative functions, solve problems during the process, and implement relevant resources.
4. Timely and effectively iterate on level layout and balance based on test and CE data and feedback.
Requirements
1. 5 years or more of level development experience, with more than 3 years of experience in designing complete maps and gameplay from a 3D perspective.
2. Able to efficiently use mainstream engines for level whitebox construction, capable of quickly creating level prototypes. Experience with UE large map pipeline and basic Blueprint is preferred.
3. Has been responsible for the design and development of at least one complete single-gameplay experience, with experience in gameplay structure, movement design, and mechanics.
4. Has at least 300+ hours of experience playing search-and-destroy games, and a good grasp of the core points of search-and-destroy gameplay.
5. Familiarity with the UE engine is preferred; experience in multiplayer PVP gameplay map development is preferred.
