Senior Software Engineer

This Senior Software Engineer role involves working with state-of-the-art software development practices, including large-scale distributed systems, microservices, agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code. Must Have

• Work with large scale distributed systems
• Collaborate with building microservices
• Have practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Clojure, Finagle, functional programming techniques, and hexagonal architecture
• Experience with Kafka for high throughput jobs and inter-service communication
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment into AWS
• Knowledge of Datomic and DynamoDB for data storage
• Experience with Prometheus for monitoring and observability
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Openness to learning Clojure
• Familiarity with test automation
• Involvement with architecture discussions

• Horizontally scalable microservices written mostly in Clojure, using Finagle and leveraging upon functional programming techniques and hexagonal architecture
• High throughput jobs and inter-service communication using Kafka

• Running as much as possible in Kubernetes
