About The Role

We're seeking a Senior / Staff-level engineer to spearhead the development and enhancement of our data processing, automation, and API infrastructure. Depending on your interests, there's room to contribute to user-facing full-stack product development and AI-focused features. We're looking for individuals who can lead projects, mentor team members, and take on leadership responsibilities within the team.

What You'll Do

• Design and build software capable of reaching millions of users.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs deeply and develop a product that addresses those needs.
• Develop and execute short and long-term roadmaps, balancing business impact, user experience, and technical quality.
• Contribute to the improvement of the team and company culture through mentorship, interviewing, and new initiatives.
• Foster relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate across functions.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve challenges faced by our customers.
• Work with peers to design and build tools and capabilities that facilitate efficient development and use of our platform.
• Write high-quality, performant code and support peer teams throughout the company.

What We're Seeking

Must Have

• Proficiency in web application backends, particularly Django & Django Rest Framework.
• Experience managing infrastructure on Google Cloud.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• US work authorization preferred; remote work from the US is feasible (office in NYC).
• Experience as a tech lead and coaching junior team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience in sprint planning.
• BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Enthusiasm for working on both backend and frontend projects.
• Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes.
