We are looking for an expert engineer to join the team behind Candy Crush Saga within the SAGA Features team, that delivers some of the most successful features for CCS.

Our programmers are at the heart of our game development. They are driven, versatile generalists who supply not only to the code, but to the entire product. You have excellent passion for Programming, Technology, Architecture and a tried sense of Quality and an innovative outlook. As an engineer you are also analytical and genuinely interested in understanding the whole tech stack. An overview on what makes a good game is highly needed and appreciated. You will be working closely together with multi-functional team/s.

Your role within the Kingdom

● As a Senior Backend Engineer you have proven experience in developing and operating robust and scalable backend systems in core Java.

● You believe in craftsmanship and enjoy writing clean, high-quality code.

● You are humble and open, ask for feedback and collaborate with your peers to build the best possible solutions.

● You are encouraged to improve your teams' communication and teamwork and efficiency.

● You actively encourage the sharing of knowledge and make sure that meaningful information is easily accessible to everyone.

● You are a teammate who faces new challenges with a positive, can-do attitude.

Skills to build thrills

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.

● Having hands-on experience working with key/value databases in a high traffic environment.

● Familiarity with the game industry and cloud platforms.

● Previous experience with gaming is a plus.
