- Design and implement a robust end-to-end test automation framework using Cypress and Jest.
- Lead automation initiatives to enhance test coverage, minimize manual testing, and ensure platform stability.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable features utilizing JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Identify and mitigate risks in both feature development and test framework design.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Actively support the on-call rotation for production incident response, ensuring the high availability of our systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in building and maintaining complex, scalable software applications.
- Proven experience in designing and building automation frameworks with Cypress and Jest.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and NodeJS, and professional experience using ReactJS.
- Experience in building and testing RESTful APIs and web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a motivated, experienced and highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to lead the development of a robust end-to-end automation framework and actively contribute to feature development for our core platform. This role demands strong technical expertise in Cypress, Jest, JavaScript, NodeJS, and ReactJS, along with a deep understanding of testing strategy, quality engineering, and agile product development.
Responsibilities
- Automation Design & Implementation: Design and implement a robust end-to-end test automation framework using Cypress and Jest
- Automation Leadership: Lead automation initiatives to enhance test coverage, minimize manual testing, and ensure platform stability
- Feature Development: Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable features utilizing JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS
- Collaboration: Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in both feature development and test framework design
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Incident Response: Actively support the on-call rotation for production incident response, ensuring the high availability of our systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in building and maintaining complex, scalable software applications
