Job Summary
ByteDance's IaaS-US team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development and research of their Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform. Responsibilities include designing and implementing prototypes and core feature improvements for large-scale, highly available cloud infrastructure. The role requires researching industry trends, reviewing designs, and ensuring alignment with long-term vision. The ideal candidate possesses deep understanding of cloud or AI infrastructure and experience with GPU infrastructure, machine learning frameworks, or server hardware platform technologies. This is a full-time, on-site position in Seattle.

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $177688 - $316540 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
