Job Summary

Lucid is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Power State Management and system performance optimization for their infotainment ECU. The role involves designing and implementing robust solutions for system stability, responsiveness, and optimal energy consumption. Responsibilities include power state management, performance optimization on QNX and Android Automotive, collaboration with various teams, and analyzing energy consumption and boot times.

Must Have

  • Design and implement power state management mechanisms (sleep, wake-up, fast transitions) for infotainment systems.
  • Optimize system performance on QNX and Android Automotive platforms.
  • Collaborate with middleware, hardware, and QA teams.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to energy consumption and boot times.
  • Define and monitor performance KPIs.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++.
  • Experience with QNX and Android Automotive.
  • In-depth knowledge of power management mechanisms and multicore architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with profiling, CPU/GPU optimization, and memory management.
  • Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team.
  • Strong focus on maturity, stability and performance.
  • Excellent technical communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Automotive or safety-critical systems experience.
  • Familiarity with Qt.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).
  • Knowledge of ASIL and AUTOSAR standards.

You will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust solutions that ensure system stability, responsiveness, and optimal energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement power state management mechanisms (sleep, wake-up, fast transitions) for infotainment systems.
  • Optimize system performance on QNX and Android Automotive platforms.
  • Collaborate with middleware, hardware, and QA teams to ensure feature consistency and reliability.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to energy consumption and boot times.
  • Define and monitor performance KPIs.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with QNX and Android Automotive.
  • In-depth knowledge of power management mechanisms and multicore architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with profiling, CPU/GPU optimization, and memory management.
  • Soft Skills:
