e2open is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join their Solution Architecture team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing solutions within customer projects, managing the design from initial workshops to go-live. You will connect customers' existing business processes and technology to the e2open solution to create measurable business value. Key responsibilities include conducting design workshops for complex global supply chain processes, synthesizing business requirements into use cases and design specifications, and acting as the key resource to ensure customer satisfaction with the solution design. You will also define integration architecture, manage scope, perform fit-gap analysis, lead technical and business analysts, mentor team members, and capture best practices. Additionally, you will ensure the designed solution is implemented, liaise with product stakeholders, and estimate implementation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or 2+ years of equivalent experience, and over 5 years of experience in delivering software solutions within the Logistics & Supply Chain Industry, specifically in Customs, Forwarding, or Transportation. Experience with Overseas Vessel Booking and International Freight is a plus, as is APICS certification. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems, along with proficiency in B2B Integration, XML data structures, and APIs, is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in Logistics & Supply Chain software solutions
  • Experience in Customs, Forwarding, or Transportation
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
  • Proficiency with B2B Integration
  • Understanding of XML Data Structures and ability to write/interrogate XML/XSD
  • Experience with APIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with Overseas Vessel Booking processes
  • Experience with International Freight
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management practices and strategies

SENIOR SOLUTION ARCHITECT

As part of our Solution Architecture team, you are working with experienced colleagues to implement our solutions within customer projects, owning and managing the design from initial design workshops until go live.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and connect customers’ existing business processes and technology to propose the e2open solution to create measurable business value
  • Conduct and lead business and technical design workshops around our customers’ complex global Supply Chain processes to create highly scalable and sustainable solutions 
  • Synthesize customer’s business requirements to create clear and comprehensive use cases, functional design requirements and technical system requirements 
  • Act as the key resource to ensure the customer is comfortable that solution design addresses requirements
  • Define the overall integration architecture between different customer systems and the e2open stack in terms of functional data flow and data choreography
  • You support our program directors to manage scope against contract 
  • Perform fit gap analysis between e2open cloud product functionality and the client’s requirements 
  • Be a leader on a team of technical and business analysts and engineers, foster a productive team environment, leverage diverse views to encourage innovation, and mentor team members to ensure their success and growth 
  • Capture and share best practice knowledge among e2open Professional Services community 
  • Ensure the designed solution is translated and implemented. 
  • Liaise with different Product Stakeholders in shaping the Product Roadmap 
  • Effort analysis and estimate the implementation effort. 
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain Management or related field) or 2+ years relevant and equivalent experience
  • 5+ years previous experience in the delivery of software solutions within the Logistics & Supply Chain Industry, specifically in Customs, Forwarding, or Transportation
  • Experience with Overseas Vessel Booking processes and International Freight is a plus
  • APICS certification is a plus (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management practices and knowledge of Supply Chain strategies and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle and/or other ERP systems
  • Good technological proficiency and experience with B2B Integration, mapping of files and error troubleshooting
  • Understanding of XML Data Structures; Ability to write and interrogate XML/XSD
  • Experience with API
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication (oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Supply chain certification is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring: 
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday 
    • Placing and receiving phone calls 
    • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds 
    • Travel as dictated by the role
