Job Description

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Solution Architect - Hardware to support design-in projects with China customers. Responsibilities include guiding customers through the design-win process for data center solutions, understanding customer requirements, leading architectural discussions (from schematics and simulation to production), supporting innovative HW and GPU architecture development, reviewing customer designs, troubleshooting technical issues, and engaging in large-scale data center projects. Collaboration with internal teams (hardware, software, application engineering, and product teams) is crucial. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in high-speed signal processing, system building, networking, or GPUs, along with proficiency in Python and Linux. Experience with hardware development tools and signal integrity is essential.

Good to have:
  • Strong background in server and switch design

We are now looking for an hardware expert to join NVIDIA China Solution Architect team, to engage and support design-in projects with China customers. NVIDIA is the world leader in GPU accelerated computing company. As a Solution Architect, you'll collaborate with the sales team to support our customers, including hardware and software platform. You'll establish relationships with top customers, tackle engineering problems, and help customers to build a successful NVIDIA practice.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist field business development in guiding the customer through the design-win process for NVIDIA data center solution.

  • Working with customers, understanding requirements, and leading the discussions from architecture, schematics, simulation and layout to production.

  • Support customer on development of innovative HW, GPU and system architectures to extend the state of the art in machine learning performance and efficiency.

  • Review customers’ solution and design, support bring-up of customer designs, diagnose problems and seek to resolve technical issues. Handle in-depth hands-on engagement with customers on complicated projects of large scale data center.

  • Take an active role in assessing the technical details of customer projects. Build close technical relationship with customers & partners.

  • Collaborate across the company, work with NVIDIA worldwide hardware, software, application engineering, and product teams to lead technical activities and customer support. Guide the directions of NVIDIA product implementations.

What we need to see:

  • BS, MS, or PhD. or equivalent. Strong academic background in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree.

  • Computing system knowledge.

  • 5+ years of work-related experience in high speed signal, system build, network or GPU.

  • Strong expertise in python and Linux.

  • Familiar with hardware develop tools, scope and testing of signal integrity.

  • Excellent communication and planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution and quality

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Strong background and project experience in server and switch design.

  • Experts on signal integrity and optical modules.

  • System designer and architect from CSP, OEM and ODM, or application engineering background from semiconductor companies.

  • Willing to share.

  • Knowledge in NVIDIA platform.
