Sitecore is looking for a Senior Solution Consultant, based out of Australia (Melbourne), with strong technical and digital background.
About the Role:
As a Senior Solution Engineer at Sitecore, your primary role is to provide advanced technical and strategic support throughout the sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with the sales team, engaging with prospects, existing clients, and implementation partners across the ANZ region. Reporting directly to the Director of Solution Engineering APJ, you will act as a trusted expert advisor, demonstrating the value and technical capabilities of the Sitecore Platform to customers, prospects, and partners.
In addition, the Solution Consultant will act as a product evangelist, educate the sales team and
implementation partners on product features and platform roadmaps, and present when required at Sitecore and industry events.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage all technical aspects of a Sitecore sale in conjunction with the sales team; Own the technical relationship in sales situations, to ensure that all technical aspects of sales are covered.
- Scope and present proof-of-concept (POC) solution on the Sitecore platform, tailored to client needs.
- Respond to proposals and RFPs to ensure that all technical information and recommendations address the clients’ requirements.
- Engage and enable partners on the latest Sitecore platform features, roadmap and best practices.
- Create and deliver customised demonstration scenarios showcasing Sitecore solutions.
- Support existing customers by keeping them informed about new features and roadmap updates.
- Represent Sitecore at industry events, presenting both solution benefits, features, updates and roadmap.
What You Need to Succeed
- We imagine that you come from a similar Solution Consultant role or have Sitecore experience working as a technical project manager or lead developer.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies, patterns and practices to support headless applications with Sitecore solutions, e.g. HTML/CSS, NextJS or others.
- Comfortable with a consultative presentation to C-level business executives as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a technical audience.
- Strong capability to align business user and technical requirements with business objectives to support driving value proposition discussions,
- Experience with one or more Web Content Management Systems or e-commerce platforms,
- Knowledge of allied software systems, e.g., CRM, PIM, DAM, and an appreciation of cross-channel digital marketing technologies,

Travel expectations
The Solution Consulting team supports all sales activities across ANZ, so travel is required across the region. International travel may also be required to support APJ opportunities and attend global Sitecore events.
