insightsoftware is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer in Dubai to join their pre-sales team. This hybrid role involves showcasing cutting-edge solutions like ‘Just Perform EPM’ to enterprise clients across the MEA region. The engineer will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to solve business challenges, deliver impactful demonstrations, drive revenue growth by partnering with sales, and become a trusted advisor to senior executives, educating prospects and representing the company at industry events.

Must Have

  • Deliver impactful demonstrations of solutions suite.
  • Create engaging demo content.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical details into business value messages.
  • Ability to consult and persuade stakeholders/customers on best practice.
  • Strong grasp of financial planning and month-end reporting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to quickly connect product functionality to business outcomes.
  • Natural relationship builder with high integrity and business judgment.
  • Proven track record in consultative customer engagement and problem-solving.
  • Collaborative team player thriving in a high-performance environment.
  • Comfortable with up to 30% regional travel for client meetings.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Working hands-on knowledge in an ERP such as Oracle, SAP.
  • Experience with insightsoftware products.
  • Fluency in Arabic.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our pre-sales team in Dubai and become a trusted advisor that transforms how organizations leverage their financial data. You'll be at the forefront of showcasing cutting-edge solutions like ‘Just Perform EPM’, covering areas such as Consolidation & Close, Budgeting, Planning, Reporting and Disclosure management to enterprise clients across the region, combining technical expertise with consultative selling to solve real business challenges.

This is a hybrid role offering the perfect balance: 3 days per week in our Dubai office collaborating with your team, plus regular customer visits across the MEA region where you'll deliver compelling demonstrations that win deals.

What You'll Do:

Be the Product Champion

  • Deliver impactful demonstrations of our solutions suite, including Just Perform EPM, tailored to each prospect's unique challenges
  • Create engaging demo content that brings our solutions to life
  • Conduct discovery sessions to deeply understand client pain points and craft relevant, persuasive presentations

Drive Revenue Growth

  • Partner with sales teams to exceed client expectations and close enterprise deals
  • Transform prospect objections into opportunities through consultative expertise
  • Support RFPs/RFIs with compelling technical responses
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Cloud team, professional services teams for these effective client solutions.

Become a Trusted Advisor

  • Engage strategically with senior executives (CFOs, finance directors and data leaders) and key stakeholders to understand their business challenges and articulate how insightsoftware will deliver tangible value.
  • Educate prospects through webinars, on-site presentations, and proof-of-concept trials
  • Represent insightsoftware at industry events, roundtables, and conferences
  • Share best practices and success stories that inspire clients to maximize their investment
  • Stay current on industry trends, proactively sharing insights internally and externally, and demonstrating marketplace thought leadership

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a Solutions Engineer selling to enterprise clients
  • Deep understanding of financial software, specifically financial reporting and EPM solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and influencing skills. Ability to simplify complex technical details into compelling business value messages - and consult and persuade stakeholders/customers on best practice.
  • Working hands-on knowledge in an ERP such as Oracle, SAP would be a real advantage
  • Strong grasp of financial planning and month-end reporting requirements
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Ability to quickly connect product functionality to business outcomes
  • Experience with insightsoftware products is a significant advantage
  • Natural relationship builder with high integrity and business judgment
  • Proven track record in consultative customer engagement, solution-driven problem-solving, story telling and handling customer objections onsite and during demonstrations.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a high-performance environment
  • Comfortable with travel (up to 30% regionally) across the Gulf/middle East region and South Africa for client meetings and team interactions.
  • Fluency in English is essential, Arabic would also be highly advantageous.
