Must have:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Electronics Engineering or related.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of industry experience in NPI, process, or test development.
  • Ability to interpret electronic circuit schematics; knowledge of RF components.
  • Proficient in engineering and data analysis tools, including ADS, JMP, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Transformers, Pytorch.

Senior / Staff New Product Integration (NPI) Engineer

Position Overview

Broadcom is currently seeking an experienced Senior / Staff New Product Integration (NPI) Engineer to join our engineering team. This position plays a pivotal role in driving the successful introduction and integration of new electronic products into manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, enhancing yield and product performance, and ensuring process and product quality from design through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to support the integration of new processes and technologies, with a focus on yield enhancement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D during the product development phase to define and implement Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Take proactive measures to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to manufacturing and quality during MPV and production ramp-up.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses using Six Sigma methodologies and statistical tools to identify opportunities for product yield improvement, cost optimization, and enhanced reliability.
  • Develop and implement electrical and RF test strategies for new product characterization and validation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across design, process, and testing functions to enhance overall product performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6- 8 years of industry experience, preferably in new product engineering, process development, or test development.
  • Proven ability to interpret electronic circuit schematics; working knowledge of RF components is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in engineering and data analysis tools, including ADS, JMP, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of deep machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Transformers, Pytorch. Hands-on experience with LLMs agent framework (LangChain, ADK), RAG architectures, embedding models, and vectorization techniques, is considered a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data science, statistical analysis, and application of Six Sigma principles (Green or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; able to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
