The Challenge:
The Senior Tax Analyst will report into the Director of Global Tax. This position supports the global tax accounting and compliance function of the Company’s tax department. The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing calculations and reconciliations in connection with the global tax provision and U.S federal and state income tax compliance.
What You’ll Take On:
- Prepare data collection requests and templates for global income tax accounting, income tax compliance and transfer pricing documentation processes
- Prepare detail analysis of tax adjustments for tested income (GILTI) calculations by foreign entity.
- Prepare calculations and supporting workpapers for Forms 5471 and 8858 including, but not limited to, computation of E&P, GILTI tested income, tax pools and reconciliation of E&P to retained earnings.
- Prepare foreign tax credit calculations including analysis of baskets, expense allocation and determination of foreign taxes paid by basket.
- Prepare information required to calculate foreign derived intangible income (FDII) benefit and base erosion anti-abuse tax (BEAT).
- Calculate and book monthly and quarterly tax entries.
- Review and validate transfer pricing workflows for foreign subsidiaries.
- Prepare support and reconciliations to validate tax payable/receivable transactions and balances by entity.
- Complete information packages for U.K. income tax compliance
- Complete information packages for Canadian income tax compliance
- Prepare tax provision calculations for foreign entities on an interim forecasted basis and year end actuals.
- Assist in validating and preparing support for deferred tax asset/liability balances.
- Prepare data for jurisdictional netting of tax balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare data and calculations for Country-by-Country Reporting
- Prepare detailed and complex cost sharing calculation between the U.S. and international, including reconciliation and analysis of software development costs, and benchmarking analytics.
- Prepare reconciliation of worldwide OPEX and COGS accounts to pool of development costs reflected in cost sharing file.
- Maintain and update worldwide tax calendar, including the tracking of due and filing dates.
- Work directly with external income tax preparer to address queries and manage requests for information.
- Prepare compliance required for transactions such as tax ID requests, check the box elections, purchase price allocation statements, asset election forms, etc.
- Support Director of Global Tax in maintaining SOX documentation.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end close processes.
- Support the income tax compliance processes and process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and completion time.
- Support Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director with preparation and coordination of responses to tax authorities for tax audits, notices and investigations.
- Support in the implementation and integration of acquisitions/transactions.
- Assist in tax planning and special projects.
What You Bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
- MS/MBA in Taxation and/or CPA preferred
- 4+ years minimum total experience, including experience with a publicly traded company and/or national public accounting firm.
- Experience with CorpTax, Hyperion. Hyperion Planning, and JD Edwards a plus
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and external service providers.
- Knowledge of internal control documentation requirements for tax processes under Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Knowledge of U.S. taxation of domestic and international transactions.
- Knowledge of ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109).
- Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $91,100 and $134,840 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
