The role involves joining the Global Partner Technical Account Management team as a key technical advisor for merchants, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and collaborating with global SRE, Product, and Engineering teams to advocate for merchants and improve products, systems, and processes. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with APIs, SDKs, payment flows, and latency, communicating these to merchants and internal teams, consulting on customer experience improvements and best practices, building strong merchant relationships, and continuously learning new skills and technologies.
Must have:
  • 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Confident communicator
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTTP, HTML, JSON)
  • Troubleshooting experience with API calls (SOAP, REST, GraphQL)
  • Understanding of basic SQL Commands
  • Solid understanding of Networking (Firewalls, Proxy, HTTP Errors, TCP/IP)
Good to have:
  • Experience in Solution Engineering or Technical Management
  • Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages
  • Experience working with a Microservice Architecture

We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

Your Way To Impact:

You’ll join our Global Partner Technical Account Management team and work alongside peers in Global Technical Support, Partner Servicing, Sales, and Partner Integrations.

As the key technical adviser for your merchants, you’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels of their business.

You’ll also collaborate with global SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), Product, and Engineering teams to advocate on your merchants’ behalf to improve products, systems, and processes.

Job Description:

Your day-to-day:
 

After onboarding with your new-hire buddy, on a day-to-day basis you’ll:

  • Diagnose issues with APIs, SDKs, payment flows, and latency, and communicate these to merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Consult with merchants and internal teams on customer experience improvements and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships to help merchants be successful now and into the future.
  • Learn new skills, technologies, and tools to grow personally and professionally.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Confident communicator – equally comfortable speaking to a merchant CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CTO (Chief Technology Officer), or development team.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTTP, HTML, JSON, etc.
  • Troubleshooting experience with API calls (SOAP, REST, GraphQL) needed.
  • Understanding of basic SQL Commands.
  • Solid Understanding of Networking (Firewalls, Proxy, HTTP Errors, TCP/IP protocol, etc). 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in Solution Engineering or Technical Management preferred. 
  • Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience working with a Microservice Architecture.
