Must have:
  • Create and execute tests, manage product testing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality requirements.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate and execute testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts.
  • Track, identify, record, and document bugs.
  • Apply testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on system requirements.
  • Track quality assurance metrics.
  • Validate technical documentation with clients.
  • Advanced knowledge in software development and QA.
  • Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
  • Intermediate English skills (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with AzureDevOps environment.
  • Experience in test automation.

Who will you work with?

You will work in a global engineering team that develops cutting-edge technologies capable of providing more productivity and safety for railway operations around the world.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Digital Intelligence group/division, you will be responsible for creating and executing tests, as well as managing the testing process of your product, ensuring compliance with all quality requirements established by Wabtec.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or information systems;
  • Advanced knowledge in software development projects, working in a Quality Assurance team;
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
  • Experience in developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development;
  • Intermediate English (reading, writing, and speaking);
  • Experience working with distributed teams;
  • Experience in the AzureDevOps environment;
  • Experience in test automation;
  • Desirable experience in railway projects.

What will your day-to-day be like?

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases;
  • Estimate and execute testing activities;
  • Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts;
  • Track, identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly;
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs;
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements;
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts;
  • Validate technical documentation with the client.
