Our client, recognized for its expertise in civil engineering, infrastructure, and spatial planning, has been supporting ambitious and sustainable projects in Switzerland and internationally for several decades. To strengthen its dynamic and committed team, we are looking for a:
Senior TUNNEL Project Manager
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure the complete management of a portfolio of projects in the field of underground structures (tunnels, caverns, galleries).
- Structure, supervise, and develop a team of specialized engineers.
- Expand the department's activity, by integrating new projects (new structures or renovations of existing infrastructures).
- Work in close collaboration with the team based in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Take charge of the operational management of projects, from planning to execution.
- Actively contribute to business development through a proactive prospecting approach and the drafting of technical and commercial offers.
What you bring:
- An advanced degree in civil engineering.
- Solid experience in team and project management, as well as department development (minimum 5 years required).
- In-depth knowledge of the construction sector in German-speaking Switzerland.
- Natural leadership, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Perfect command of German as well as a good understanding of French.
- Mastery of applicable norms and standards (SIA, CFF directives, OFROU, etc.).
- The ability to effectively manage budgets and deadlines in a demanding environment.
- A structured mind, strong organizational rigor, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good proficiency with Microsoft 365, MS Project tools, as well as with numerical simulation software dedicated to underground works.
