Senior XAML UI Developer

iRacing is a global leader in motorsport racing simulations and games, dedicated to creating authentic and realistic racing experiences. We seek an experienced Senior XAML UI Developer to design and program professional, highly detailed, and performant user interfaces for our simulation products. This role involves transforming designs into visually appealing and fully functional UIs, working closely with development teams, and maintaining high technical standards to enhance our world-class racing simulations.

Must Have

• Use XAML to create complex and performant screens, features, custom widgets, and controls according to design specifications
• Promote consistency of visual styles across the user interface
• Maintain high technical standards and identify areas for potential optimization/improvement
• Work closely and effectively with the sim development team, artists, designers and QA
• Create prototypes to rapidly explore new ideas
• Provide technical documentation to accompany implementations
• Expert-level WFP/XAML, ideally in combination with the Noesis GUI framework
• A passion for playing and making video games with a strong self-driven work ethic
• Experience working with proprietary game or simulation engines
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training or relevant professional experience

Good to Have

• Experience building UI for VR and other aspect rations
• Knowledge of real work and/or sim racing
• Proficiency in C++
• Familiarity with Figma and similar design tools

The Position

As a Senior XAML UI Developer you will be an expert in XAML design and programming, and possess artistic skills to create professional, highly detailed, and performant UI for iRacing simulation. You will understand UI architecture and design principles and have the capabilities to transform designs into fully functioning and visually appealing user interfaces.

At iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations LLC, for this position we expect to pay a salary in the range of $140,000 to $220,000. This range reflects our estimate of what the employer expects to pay for this position at the time of posting, excluding other benefits.
