Job Summary
iRacing, a global leader in motorsport racing simulations, is seeking a full-time Production Assistant to join their team in Northfield, Minnesota. This role supports the Production team in planning, coordinating, and executing tasks for high-quality console game development. The assistant will work closely with Producers, Designers, Artists, Engineers, and QA to ensure smooth daily operations and project milestone achievement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and motivated in game development, contributing to the creation of authentic and realistic racing simulations and games.
Must Have
- Assist team with daily project coordination and development tasks.
- Use Unreal to create and validate game data.
- Perform QA tasks to test and evaluate features.
- Coordinate build submissions and playtests.
- Help monitor project tasks and escalate them to Producers as needed.
- Experience contributing to a game development team in a production-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, including working with Blueprint systems.
- Background in QA testing for console game titles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a demanding environment and manage shifting priorities.
- An initiative-taking mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems quickly.
- Excitement for video games and understanding of the game development lifecycle.
Good to Have
- Previous experience in production, coordination, or administrative support roles in gaming, entertainment, or software development.
- Familiarity with game console development workflows (Xbox, PlayStation)
- Experience managing assets, documentation, or pipelines.
- Interest in Racing
