About The Role

Ethos is seeking a talented and driven SEO Content Writer based in Bangalore, India to join our fast-growing team. You will play a critical role in creating high-quality, search-optimized content that drives traffic, improves rankings, and supports user acquisition goals.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is excited to help shape the content roadmap and has a passion for impactful writing in a mission-driven startup.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content including blog posts, landing pages, and product-related copy to drive organic traffic growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Design, SEO, and Marketing) to align content strategies with broader business objectives.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Monitor SEO performance metrics and iterate on content based on insights and feedback.
• Stay up to date with SEO best practices, Google algorithm changes, and content trends to maintain competitive edge.
• Contribute to building a scalable content pipeline that supports rapid testing and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in SEO-focused content writing, ideally in a B2C or high-growth startup environment.
• Strong grasp of SEO principles including on-page optimization, keyword targeting, and content structuring.
• Proven track record of producing content that ranks well and drives measurable results.
• Excellent command of written English for the United States audience, with a flair for storytelling and a detail-oriented approach to grammar and syntax.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple content projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, SurferSEO, or similar.
• Experience with CMS platforms
• Prior exposure to the fintech, insurtech, or personal finance sectors is an advantage.
