LeadVenture is seeking an SEO Migration Specialist for an 18-month temporary, full-time position. This role focuses on maintaining historical SEO performance during client website migrations. Responsibilities include reviewing Google Analytics data, implementing redirects and analytics on target platforms, managing Google Analytics properties, and optimizing client profiles. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, basic design skills (HTML, JSON), CMS experience (WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore), and proficiency with SEO/SEM tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
Must have:
  • Process clients on multiple platforms and utilities.
  • Implement redirects for stable SEO performance.
  • Manage Google Analytics properties to maintain historical data.
  • Prep and confirm campaign information for reports.
  • Validate migrated services and forms.
  • Create and optimize client profiles on internal and external platforms.
  • Post website and GBP content.
  • Review current services and validate migration to new sites.
  • Strong conversational and written English skills.
  • Basic design skills (HTML, JSON).
  • Hands-on experience managing content within a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore).
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, email).
  • Experience with keyword monitoring tools.
  • Experience with SEO/SEM.
  • Proficiency with Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, Google My Business).
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of 301, 302, and 307 redirects and handling them via .htaccess, server-side configurations, or CMS plugins (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting GA tags, event tracking, and custom scripts.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and Regex for implementing and troubleshooting tracking codes and redirect rules.

Description

This support position focuses on maintaining historical SEO performance as clients migrate from one website platform to another. The role assists the SEO Migration Team by reviewing Google Analytics data from the source platform as well as implementing redirects and analytics on the target platform.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Processing clients on multiple platforms and utilities according to the package and services contracted
  • Implementing redirects to ensure stable SEO performance
  • Managing Google Analytics properties to maintain historical data
  • Prepping and confirming all campaign information to be included in the Monthly and Quarterly Reports
  • Validation of migrated services and forms from Content Services
  • Creating and optimizing client’s profiles on both internal and external platforms and services contracted
  • Posting website and GBP content
  • Reviewing current services and validating these services are brought over to the migrated site

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Have strong conversational and written English skills
  • Possess basic design skills (HTML, JSON)
  • Have hands-on experience managing content within a CMS environment, such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore
  • Have excellent computer skills (MS Office or similar, email)
  • Have experience with keyword monitoring tools
  • Have experience with SEO/SEM
  • Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, Google My Business – certification is a plus)
