Job Summary
Aristocrat is seeking an ambitious Acquisition Strategist to advise user acquisition strategies for the Massachusetts Lottery’s iLottery program. This role involves collaborating with a world-class marketing team to impact growth, partnering with internal teams and external collaborators to execute multi-channel acquisition strategies aligned with company goals, and optimizing results by identifying growth opportunities.
Must Have
- Guide the creation of user acquisition approaches to achieve iLottery growth goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to internal teams, media partners, and affiliate networks.
- Supervise acquisition performance across all channels to identify optimization opportunities.
- Recommend and coordinate structured testing strategies to drive continuous performance improvement.
- Analyze acquisition data to evaluate channel efficiency and advise media mix decisions.
- Define and maintain acquisition critical metrics and benchmarks; communicate findings to collaborators.
- Partner with CRM, analytics, and data teams for accurate attribution and reporting.
- Assist with acquisition budget planning, forecasting, and pacing oversight.
- Direct affiliate strategy including partner recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
- Recommend offers, creative strategies, and promotional tactics to optimize affiliate performance.
- Review affiliate reports and collaborate on invoicing and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with creative, brand, and compliance groups for campaign material adherence.
- Support the development of co-branded or partner-led campaigns.
- Partner with CRM and remarketing teams for a cohesive, full-funnel method.
- Manage the Acquisition Coordinator by coordinating daily responsibilities and professional development.
Good to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or comparable training/experience).
- 5+ years experience in acquisition or affiliate marketing and/or similar role in a digital marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of digital acquisition channels and performance metrics, with an emphasis on analysis and careful planning.
- Experience working with or managing external media agencies, affiliate partners, or marketing vendors.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI.
- Familiarity with attribution platforms including AppsFlyer and Outflink.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in highly supervised industries.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaborator leadership skills.
- Understanding of user acquisition funnels, conversion optimization principles, and campaign testing strategies.

What You'll Do
- Guide the creation of user acquisition approaches to achieve iLottery growth goals, ensuring consistency with wider marketing and business aims.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to internal teams, media partners, and affiliate networks by providing direction on campaign strategy, audience targeting, messaging, and promotional offers.
- Supervise acquisition performance across all channels, including paid media, strategic partnerships, influencer outreach, and affiliate marketing, to identify optimization opportunities.
- Recommend and coordinate structured testing strategies (such as A/B and multivariate tests) to drive continuous performance improvement in collaboration with agency partners.
- Analyze acquisition data to evaluate channel efficiency, advise media mix and targeting decisions, and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Define and maintain acquisition critical metrics and benchmarks; generate performance insights and communicate findings to collaborators.
- Partner with CRM, analytics, and data teams to maintain accurate attribution and reporting within the marketing technology stack.
- Assist with acquisition budget planning, forecasting, and pacing oversight. Ensure spend aligns with return on investment goals in partnership with finance and agency teams.
- Direct affiliate strategy in collaboration with third-party networks or agency partners, including partner recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
- Recommend offers, creative strategies, and promotional tactics to optimize affiliate performance while maintaining cost-per-acquisition efficiency.
- Review affiliate reports and collaborate with internal and external groups to ensure invoicing and reconciliation processes are completed accurately.
- Collaborate with creative, brand, and compliance groups to confirm that acquisition and affiliate campaign materials adhere to regulatory requirements and brand standards.
- Support the development of co-branded or partner-led campaigns to increase reach and transparency.
- Partner with CRM and remarketing teams to deliver a cohesive, full-funnel method that drives player conversion and early retention.
- Manage the Acquisition Coordinator by coordinating daily responsibilities, client results, and professional development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A comparable amount of training and related experience may be substituted.
- 5 years+ experience in acquisition or affiliate marketing and/or similar role in a digital marketing environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital acquisition channels and performance metrics, with an emphasis on analysis and careful planning.
- Experience working with or managing external media agencies, affiliate partners, or marketing vendors.
