Job Description

This SFMC Lead role involves collaborating with stakeholders, designing and developing solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, and building automation. Responsibilities include data quality maintenance, journey creation, and Salesforce platform administration. The role requires experience with SQL, AMPscript, and campaign orchestration. The candidate will also analyze requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure data protection compliance. The candidate should possess a good understanding of Salesforce objects, data, and security models, and have excellent communication skills. They will also be responsible for promoting information security practices and identifying and reporting security risks.
Must have:
  • Expertise in SFMC Email Marketing Tool with 5+ years experience
  • Good Experience in SQL
  • Experience with Ampscript or SSJS
  • Experience in Data model design
  • Expertise in Campaign Orchestration and personalization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio & Automation Studio components
Good to have:
  • Experience with Interaction Studio/MCP and Datorama.
  • Good Business understanding of Digital Marketing
  • SFMC Certification (Marketing Cloud Specialist or Email Specialist)
  • Experience in designing integrations from Salesforce to SFMC
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate and train other team members on basic functionalities for SFMC Maintain data quality & integrity Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create journeys using Journey Builder and sync data from Sales Cloud and Snowflake DWH to Marketing Cloud Administer and support Salesforce platform, including but not limited to user setups, profiles & roles, reports & dashboards, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow, and validations.
  • Work closely with the Business stakeholders, Salesforce technical team, Product and Data teams to design and develop solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform Build automation within Automation Studio (writing SQL Queries, setting up data import/export activities), configure API calls for trigger sends and DE data pulls, integrate/activate new SFMC solutions such as Advertising Studio or Mobile studio Analyze complex business and systems requirements and providing technical solutions to meet user requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Expertise in SFMC Email Marketing Tool with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good Experience in SQL
  • Experience with Ampscript or SSJS
  • Experience in Data model design
  • Expertise in Campaign Orchestration, Life cycle programs and personalization
  • Expertise in Marketing data optimization and List cleansing
  • Proven experience with Interaction Studio/MCP and Datorama.
  • Experience in Data optimization and Hygiene
  • Experience in Personalization in campaigns
  • Good Business understanding of Digital Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
Preferably with SFMC Certification (Marketing Cloud Specialist or Email Specialist)
  • Candidate should have Good understanding of Salesforce object, data & security models Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and comfortable navigating conflicting priorities and ambiguous problems Experience with Agile methodologies, including working within a sprint framework Experience in designing integrations from Salesforce and other backend systems to SFMC and maintaining Data Extensions Excellent attention to detail, strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio & Automation Studio components Working knowledge of AMPscript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and/or SOQL A team-oriented, self-motivated, success-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude Solid grasp of sales & marketing capabilities, processes, and technology that enables smooth marketing operations Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification
