Silicon Validation Engineer, DDR Memory

Apple

Job Summary

As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be part of a small team focused on bench testing, bring-up, debugging, and characterizing DDR Memory for System-on-Chips (SoCs). This involves developing benchtop electrical tests utilizing FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces. Your responsibilities include drafting and executing scripts to automate tests, extract results, and generate reports using database and analytical tools. You will generate reports for characterization and/or debugging, providing design feedback, performing in-system PI/SI measurements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Design, System Hardware, and Software. You will also support Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Product Engineering for inter-operability tests.

Must Have

  • Bench test, bring-up, debug, and characterize DDR Memory for SoCs.
  • Develop benchtop electrical tests using FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces.
  • Draft and execute scripts to automate tests and generate reports.
  • Generate reports for characterization and debugging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
