Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and people-focused Site Manager to lead our Mangalore facility in Victoria. In this role, you’ll not only oversee operations but also shape a high-performing team environment where every person feels valued, supported, and equipped to succeed now and in the future. As Site Manager, you will lead daily operations for our Tier 1 Depot in line with safety, compliance, and contract requirements. You’ll be the bridge between strategic direction from the Regional Manager and delivery on the ground — ensuring your team has the skills, confidence, and capability to exceed expectations.
Must have:
  • Lead and inspire a skilled team, fostering a supportive and high-trust culture
  • Resolve challenges with diplomacy and constructive conflict resolution
  • Coach and upskill staff for both current success and long-term capability
  • Oversee safe, compliant, and efficient EO logistics operations
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and customers
  • Ensuring all operations meet stringent OH&S, environmental, and Major Hazard Facility legislative requirements
  • Proven leadership in logistics, warehousing, or defence operations
  • Strong people management and team development experience
  • Skilled communicator who can navigate sensitive situations confidently
  • OH&S knowledge

Our Explosive Ordnance Services (EOS) team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a hands-on and people-focused Site Manager to lead our Mangalore facility in Victoria. In this role, you’ll not only oversee operations but also shape a high-performing team environment where every person feels valued, supported, and equipped to succeed now and in the future.

As Site Manager, you will lead daily operations for our Tier 1 Depot in line with safety, compliance, and contract requirements. You’ll be the bridge between strategic direction from the Regional Manager and delivery on the ground — ensuring your team has the skills, confidence, and capability to exceed expectations.

Located in Mangalore, on Taungurung land, your role will be:

  • Lead and inspire a skilled team, fostering a supportive and high-trust culture

  • Oversee safe, compliant, and efficient EO logistics operations
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and customers
  • Ensuring all operations meet stringent OH&S, environmental, and Major Hazard Facility legislative requirements

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Proven leadership in logistics, warehousing, or defence operations
  • Strong people management and team development experience
  • Skilled communicator who can navigate sensitive situations confidently
  • OH&S knowledge, ideally with Dangerous Goods or EO handling
