Kaizen Gaming is seeking a Social Media Manager with a creative, strategic mindset and a strong connection to Colombia’s digital culture. This role involves leading, optimizing, and scaling Betano’s organic social media strategy in Colombia, aligning with the global brand identity. The manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure content reflects Betano’s voice and resonates with the local community, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide the best experience to millions of customers.

  • Measure performance using tools like Sprout or Brandwatch and deliver monthly reports.
  • Lead local influencer marketing strategy and build partnerships.
  • Activate real-time content, leveraging trends and key moments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Sponsorship, and Product teams.
  • Contribute to translation and localization of global content.
  • Be fully available to work on weekends for major sporting events.

Let's start with the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager with a creative, strategic mindset and a strong connection to Colombia’s digital culture. This role will be responsible for leading, optimizing, and scaling Betano’s organic social media strategy in Colombia, aligned with our global brand identity. They will work closely with the Marketing, Design, CRM, Sponsorship, and Product teams to ensure that all content reflects Betano’s voice and resonates with our local community.

As a Social Media Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement a data-driven organic social media strategy aligned with the brand’s global and local objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the content calendar, ensuring relevant, engaging, and platform-adapted posts (Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
  • Execute organic campaigns focused on awareness, engagement, and community building, using Betano’s content pillars.
  • Use tools like Sprout, Brandwatch, or similar to measure performance (reach, engagement, conversions) and deliver monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Lead the local influencer marketing strategy by identifying creators, building strategic partnerships, and boosting organic reach.
  • Activate real-time content (reactive marketing), leveraging trends and key moments in sports and entertainment.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Sponsorship, and Product teams to align brand messaging across all channels.
  • Contribute to the translation and localization of global content (web, app, CRM), ensuring an authentic and relevant local voice;
  • Be fully available to work on weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays, as this is when most major sporting events take place.

What you will bring:

  • Experience on producing social media content firsthand and a proven track record of managing and growing sports or sports betting communities;
  • At least 3 years of experience in social media management and/or digital content, preferably in the entertainment, sports, or online betting industries;
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, Meta, X, YouTube, etc.) and content formats;
  • Experience with social media listening and performance tools (e.g., Sprout, Brandwatch, or similar);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence without direct authority;
  • People management and stakeholder engagement experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools is a nice-to-have.
