Software Engineer

Fundamental Research Labs is seeking smart, ambitious Software Engineers at all levels to join their fast-moving team. The role involves shipping innovative products powered by cutting-edge AI and modern development frameworks, ultimately turning research into reality. Engineers will own problems end-to-end, contributing to consumer products, infrastructure, and cutting-edge AI research.

Must Have

• Fullstack engineering experience: depth and ownership matter more than # of years
• Proven experience with AI/LLM integrations in production applications
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration, not precious about what you work on, and can contribute from day 1
• Hands-on experience with modern deployment tools (Vercel, Next.js, Railway, or similar)

Good to Have

• Competitive programming background (IOI, USACO Gold/Platinum, ACM-ICPC, or similar)
• Open source project contributions
