Fundamental Research Labs is seeking a GTM Lead to drive growth for its newly launched product, shortcut.ai, which has already achieved thousands of paying users and strong retention without a dedicated growth strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale the growth motion from the ground up, developing playbooks for current and future AI agent products. The ideal candidate will have early-stage growth experience in AI tooling, comfortable experimenting across various channels like content, community, partnerships, paid acquisition, and product-led loops, with a focus on scaling successful initiatives.
Must Have:

About the Role

We’ve just launched our first product, shortcut.ai, and we’re looking for a GTM Lead to help us put fuel on the fire: In about a month we’ve already grown to thousands of paying users with strong retention, all without any dedicated growth motion in place.

This is a rare opportunity to shape growth at the ground floor of a company defining the future of AI agents. You’ll have resources to build testing channels, run experiments, and develop the playbook that scales Shortcut and future products.

Our ideal candidate has early stage growth experience at a breakout AI tooling company. You should be equally comfortable experimenting across content, community, partnerships, paid, and product-led loops, eager to double down once you find what works.

What you'll do

  • Build and own our growth motion end-to-end, from experiments to scalable strategies
  • Develop and execute omni-channel growth campaigns (content, community, partnerships, product loops, paid)
  • Identify and unlock new distribution opportunities for Shortcut and beyond
  • Work closely with product and engineering to design growth features and optimize conversion funnels
  • Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure and guide growth
  • Serve as the connective tissue between users and the team, ensuring growth tactics align with user needs
  • Create the foundation for a world-class growth function

Qualifications

  • Early growth experience at a high-growth startup, ideally in the AI tools space
  • Proven success running high-impact growth experiments across multiple channels
  • Strong product instincts and understanding of how growth loops and product features reinforce each other
  • Ability to operate autonomously and prioritize
  • Exceptional communicator who builds trust with both technical teams and users
