We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer – Automation to join our engineering team and contribute to the quality of our cloud optimization products through effective and scalable automation. In this hands-on role, you'll work on enhancing our automation frameworks, expanding test coverage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence. Our Java-based Selenium framework supports testing across complex interfaces, data workflows, and cloud-based business logic—your contributions will help ensure our systems stay robust, scalable, and performant.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain automated test suites for cloud-native applications and services
• Collaborate with senior engineers, QA, and product stakeholders to identify test areas with high ROI
• Develop reusable test components and contribute to automation infrastructure improvements
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and participate in defect resolution discussions
• Support CI/CD integration efforts by embedding automation into build and release workflows
• Stay current with industry best practices in automation, testing methodologies, and relevant tooling

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing and executing automated tests for cloud-based systems
• Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with backend test automation and container environments such as Kubernetes
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) and cloud platform fundamentals
• Solid grasp of software testing principles and automation strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to ML/AI systems and testing dynamic, data-intensive applications
• Familiarity with observability and performance testing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, JMeter, k6)
