This role involves architecting, planning, designing, and implementing a ground-up Azure SaaS Solution in DevOps mode, collaborating with architects and counterparts. The Software Engineer will develop quality software, provide input for backlog prioritization, participate in team activities, and ensure information security. Responsibilities also include seeking root causes of incidents, promoting automation, understanding technical requirements, providing code review feedback, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires a deep understanding of the team's problem domain and effective communication of changes.

Must Have

• Architecting/planning sprints/designing/implementing Azure SaaS Solution in Devops mode
• Develop quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards
• Provide input for the prioritization of issues in the backlog and autonomously pull issues
• Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Consider aspects of information security while coding and reviewing other's code
• Seek out the root cause of incidents and inspire improvements in a blameless fashion
• Strive to replace service requests with self-service functionality and automation
• Understand functional and technical requirements of software components
• Actively provide feedback during code reviews
• Onboard new members to the team and help develop junior engineers
• Participate in team hiring activities

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred)
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Devops or Site Reliability Engineering
• Exposure to Cloud Technologies and Cloud Delivery
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub
• Experience with generative AI models and understanding of machine learning algorithms
• Strong Analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills
• Good scripting background (shell, PowerShell)
• Good understanding about DevOps technologies
• Experience with container technologies and microservice architecture like Kubernetes, Docker

Good to Have

• Development experience in any languages
• Python scripting

Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include Architecting/planning sprints/designing/implementing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) running rollouts for a ground up Azure SaaS Solution, in Devops mode.

• Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth, Python, Powershell
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite

What you’ll do:

• Consistently delivers solid quality in both design and implementation and helps the team shape what is built how, in particular:

What we are looking for:

• Nice to have development experience in any languages
• Good scripting background, shell, PowerShell – must; Python (nice to have)
• Good understanding about DevOps technologies.
• Have worked on container technologies and microservice architecture like Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Eager to learn newer technologies
