ByteDance is seeking Backend Engineers to join its Security team and build robust data security and privacy infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data security systems, working with global teams to ensure user trust and safety. This role involves optimizing system performance, analyzing product needs, and researching cutting-edge privacy-preserving technologies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in programming, experience with distributed systems, and a passion for building secure and reliable platforms.
Must Have

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $280000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
