Job Summary
ByteDance seeks Software Engineer Graduates for its Multi-Cloud CDN team in San Jose, Seattle, or Boston. Responsibilities include architecture design and development of the Multi-Cloud CDN platform, optimizing systems for configuration management, data analysis, content management, and scheduling. The role involves enhancing business access efficiency, optimizing TikTok's global traffic management, implementing flexible scheduling strategies, and contributing to platform maintenance and troubleshooting. Successful candidates will collaborate with senior engineers and learn best practices for Multi-Cloud CDN development and optimization. The position is a full-time role starting in 2025.
Must Have
- BS/MS in CS or related field
- Proficiency in C/C++, Go, Python, Java, or PHP
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Architecture design and development
- System optimization and improvement
Good to Have
- API/platform design experience
- Understanding of network protocols, storage, and message queues

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $119000 - $168150 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
