Job Description

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies for billions of users. This role involves working on a critical project, handling information at massive scale, and extending beyond web search. Engineers need to be versatile, display leadership, and tackle new problems across the full-stack. The Connect Sales team builds scalable solutions for Google Ads sales, supporting millions of seller interactions and leveraging technology to power the open internet and create value for all stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Java, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, SQL, API Development, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent
  • Write a product or system development code
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
  • Build scalable data pipelines and real-time APIs
  • Leverage AI tech stack
  • Care about users and the product experience
  • Collaborate with Product Managers (PM) and User Experience (UX), and other engineering teams
  • Grow in ambiguity, adapt to changes, and make fast decisions to drive progress
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging
  • Experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting
  • Experience with AI platforms like Gemini Dart and knowledge of distributed systems
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams

We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
