Job Summary

Tether Studios is looking for passionate self-starting engineers excited about mobile gaming technology. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and ship games, contributing clean and optimal code to a large number of games. You will also work with leads to prioritize tasks and sprints, research, and document new tools and processes to accelerate the team. The role requires strong communication skills, research, analytical skills, and a desire to work in a team-based, entrepreneurial company.

Must Have

  • Experience writing C# Code (2+ years or equivalent)
  • Experience with Game Engines (Unity, Unreal, etc)
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Desire to work in a team-based company

Good to Have

  • Experience Shipping Games (especially mobile)
  • Passion for UX (UI, design, flow)
  • Gaming Tech Experience: Networking, Graphics, AI, HTTP
  • Server Tech Experience: Threading, Services, AWS
  • Passion for game Art & Design

Some of what you'll do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build & ship games!

  • Contribute clean/optimal code to a large number of games in the tether catalog.

  • Work with leads to prioritize and triage tasks & sprints.

  • Research & document new tools and processes that help the team accelerate.

Requirements
