Duties

    • Collaborates with global technology, operations and product partners to co-develop a roadmap and drive product features from concept to launch in an agile environment.
    • Turns insights into product features with actionable outcomes
    • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
    • Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.
    • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
    • Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
    • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success 
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge stakeholder requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
    • Monitor project progress continuously and make scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
    • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
    • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
    • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with stakeholders and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news
    • Guides and coaches an Engineering Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
    • Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
    • Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
    • Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
    • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
    • Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • 5 years of project management, product ownership or software product development experience
    • Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
    • Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
    • Customer first mindset
    • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
    • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
    • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
    • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
