About the Role:

As a key leader on Stord's M&A Integration team, the Solutions Consultant is responsible for the technical and commercial success of our acquisitions. You will lead a specialized team of Solutions Engineers (Fulfillment and Parcel) to perform technical diligence, design end-to-end migration solutions, and develop the solutioning and pricing for newly acquired customers. This is a player-coach role; the 'player' aspect requires your deep, hands-on expertise in software and technical architecture to own the end-to-end technical solution. As the 'coach,' you will guide and mentor your team to deliver scalable solutions across fulfillment, parcel, and software.

Unlike a traditional pre-sales role, your focus is entirely post-acquisition. You will partner with M&A Program Managers to perform deep-dive discovery into an acquired company's technical and operational ecosystem. A primary goal is to translate their existing solution—across fulfillment, parcel, and software—into a comprehensive integration plan within Stord’s ecosystem.. Crucially, you will also identify opportunities for these customers to maximize the full potential of Stord’s solutions, creating additive value beyond their existing capabilities. We are looking for a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise who can architect scalable solutions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

This role reports directly to the Head of M&A Integration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Architect the Product Adoption Blueprint: You will architect the master product adoption playbook for the M&A team. This includes creating the standardized presentations, solution documents, and pricing frameworks that demonstrate the value of adopting Stord’s ecosystem, including fulfillment, parcel, and software.
  • Lead the Technical Solutions Pod: You will lead a small, agile team of Solutions Engineers. In this player-coach role, you will personally own the software solutions workstream while guiding and mentoring your team as they own the fulfillment and parcel workstreams.
  • Standardize the Integration Process: You will establish the best practices and standardized processes for technical discovery, solution documentation, and the formal handoff to core implementation teams, ensuring a consistent and predictable integration experience.
  • Serve as the Lead Technical Strategist: You will act as the lead technical expert and primary point of contact for the integration. This includes conducting the overarching gap analysis across all workstreams, building relationships with key stakeholders, and consolidating all technical findings to inform the R&D and Product roadmaps.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or other related technical fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in roles such as Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Implementations, with a focus on supply chain or enterprise software
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams or individuals, with the ability to manage complex technical workstreams and guide team members to successful outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in supply chain technology, including a strong understanding of technical architecture, API integrations (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and enterprise systems (ERP, OMS, WMS).
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing pricing models and solutioning complex deals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both commercial and technical audiences.

Bonus Points for:

  • Direct experience in a post-merger integration (PMI) environment.
