This Fall Internship is from September through December 12th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

 

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The IT organization vision is, “We equip the business with exceptional technology solutions and services that supercharge the creation and distribution of entertainment.”

The Source-to-Pay (S2P) Pocket of Accountability (PoA) within the Financial Systems department enables the IT organization to accomplish this vision by working within our values of innovation, agility, inclusivity, and empowerment.

S2P encompasses all activities and processes surrounding supplier lifecycle management, contract lifecycle management, sourcing, procurement, invoicing, and disbursements.  To that end, the IT S2P PoA supports, maintains, and continuously improves all applications in its landscape in direct collaboration with business stakeholders.  In addition, the team supports the technology for related elements within S2P, including the global Chart of Financial Approvals and integrations with other line of business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn various S2P systems and leverage functionality to help solve business problems
  • Explore and evaluate AI technologies and models to identify opportunities for business process improvements that result in tangible business benefits. 
  • Research and implement AI-driven solutions for Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, such as predictive analytics, automation, and data insights
  • Operate with an Agile mindset and work collaboratively within Scrum and Kanban teams
  • Participate in team Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Demos
  • Perform research and analysis to create refined S2P Agile stories
  • Solicit feedback from Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver business value
  • Perform Unit, System, and Quality Assurance Testing
  • Study leading practices in Procurement and Accounts Payable processes
  • Collaborate with team members to document findings and research, presenting recommendations on AI use cases and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interest in Information Technology systems and software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and desire to take on more responsibility
  • Ability to create concise presentations and deliver compelling messages
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication and focus on work quality and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts and technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analysis
  • Interest in applying AI technologies to optimize business processes and improve efficiency

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Financial Systems, especially in the Source-to-Pay arena
  • Interest in Agile methodology, systems and business process analysis, and software Lifecycle Development
  • Experience working with AI tools and platforms, such as LLMs, Open AI, Claude, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI applications in business processes, such as automation, forecasting, or decision-making support
  • Ability to present and instruct team members on AI tools and their practical applications in S2P processes
  • Experience performing data analysis and building dashboards

The anticipated base salary for this position is $27/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
