Job Summary

Our full stack engineers are responsible for developing APIs, integrations, UI, and processing data within the Playvox by NiCE platform. This role requires experience in building cloud-native solutions using open-source technology. You will be part of a team managing a product line end-to-end, covering DevOps, support, update cycles, and product roadmap items. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions, contribute to engineering practices, and mentor others in best practices.

Must Have

  • Develop engineering solutions collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to engineering practices and standards.
  • Ensure engineering processes, best practices, and continuous improvement are followed.
  • Maintain quality, ensure responsiveness, and stability in existing systems.
  • 8 to 12 years of software development experience in high performance, highly available, and scalable enterprise-grade software products.
  • Experience in Python.
  • Good experience with cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience in database development with SQL.
  • Experience in driving quality assurance practices within engineering using a shift left mindset.
  • Experience with Open-Source Software (OSS) technology frameworks, platforms, and tools.
  • Experience with enterprise Secure SDLC implementation.
  • Manage and build integrations across 3rd party SaaS environments.

Good to Have

  • Experience in Nodejs.
  • Experience with Angular or Vue.
  • Exposure to Tornado (or equivalent framework).
  • Experience with event driven architectures and/or microservices architectures.
  • MongoDB experience or experience in other NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Serverless computing and/or Cloud-Native Development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices for deployments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Our full stack engineers are responsible for developing of APIs, integrations, UI, and processing of data within the Playvox by NiCE platform. You will need to have experience in building solutions in cloud native environments using open-source technology.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality software. You will be part of a team looking after a product line end-to-end, responsible for the DevOps, support, and update cycle along with product road map items.

You will join a large local engineering team and work with an extended engineering team in other geo locations.

Develop engineering solutions collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and product owners, to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Contribute to the engineering practices and standards, and when needed participate in the adoption of new technologies.

Passion to educate and mentor others in engineering best practices and patterns, team player.

Ensure and contribute to engineering processes, best practices, and continuous improvement, aligned with Agile-Scrum methodology are followed. When required participate in the adoption of new technologies.

Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to influence others, especially in sensitive or complex situations.

Maintain quality, ensure responsiveness, and stability in existing systems.

Have you got what it takes?

Preferably Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

8 to 12 years of software development experience in developing high performance, highly available and scalable enterprise-grade software products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem.

Ability to work in cross functional teams and an ability to learn quickly.

Has high-attention to details and works well in a dynamic and intense environment.

Experience in Python (must have) and Nodejs (preferred).

Experience with Angular or Vue preferred.

Exposure to Tornado (or equivalent framework) beneficial

Good experience with cloud - preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Experience with event driven architectures and/or microservices architectures is preferred.

Experience in database development with SQL and MongoDB. MongoDB experience preferred or experience in other NoSQL databases.

Experience in driving quality assurance practices within engineering using a shift left mindset.

Experience with Open-Source Software (OSS) technology frameworks, platforms, and tools.

Experience with enterprise Secure SDLC implementation comprising of static code analysis, vulnerability and licensing scan, penetration testing, etc.

Manage and build integrations across 3rd party SaaS environments to deliver a comprehensive solution.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

Knowledge of Serverless computing and/or Cloud-Native Development

Familiarity with CI/CD practices for deployments.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
