Job Description

This role supports the Total Customer Satisfaction Division by analyzing and reporting warranty claim activity, driving cost recovery efforts, and contributing to Nissan’s brand value and profitable growth. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing monthly warranty claim reports, conducting quantitative and Weibull analyses, collaborating with stakeholders, applying analytical tools to solve business problems, and providing actionable recommendations based on dealer processes.
Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Advanced English Level
  • 5+ years of experience in data/statistical analysis and dealer operations
  • Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Proficiency in relational databases (Access, Oracle, SQL, Snowflake)
  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in Manufacturing, R&D, or Supply Chain Management
  • Familiarity with automotive suppliers and warranty policies
  • Experience with budget forecasting and tracking
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and dealer operations
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau) and mainframe FOCUS

We are currently looking for a Sr. Analyst Warranty Cost Recovery to join our team in Mexico City. This role supports the Total Customer Satisfaction Division by analyzing and reporting warranty claim activity, driving cost recovery efforts, and contributing to Nissan’s brand value and profitable growth

A Day in the Life:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly warranty claim activity reports and deliver insightful month-end analysis to stakeholders
  • Conduct quantitative and Weibull analyses to identify key issues and trends in warranty data
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with business needs
  • Apply analytical tools to solve business problems and improve warranty cost recovery
  • Understand dealer processes to provide actionable recommendations

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Advanced English Level
  • 5+ years of experience in data/statistical analysis and dealer operations
  • Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), relational databases (Access, Oracle, SQL, Snowflake)
  • Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentation capabilities
