Sr Engineer II - Manual Testing

We are looking for Software Test Engineer who is passionate about testing and delivering high impact casino games to our global customers. You will be part of a studio with talented team of Artists, Game Designers, Game Developers and Test engineers.

The ideal Candidate will have a strong background in Manual testing, with a focus on iGaming, Online Casino games, Slot games or gaming applications. As a software test engineer, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality gaming experience by identifying defects, verifying functionalities and collaborating closely with cross – functional teams. The role will provide challenge of complexity (complex art, complex game mathematics, compliance requirements etc.) and variety (different cabinets, markets and languages) as well as opportunity to interact with multiple stakeholders. Each game is different, and you will be challenged every time.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories for iGaming applications.

• Perform testing across various platforms, including web browsers and mobile devices, ensuring consistent user experiences.

• Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines and best practices.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems such as Jira.

• Work closely with Game Development team that includes Game Designers, Artists, Software Development Engineers to resolve issues found during execution of SIT test cycles.

• Follow guidelines set by SIT management to plan, execute tests to support business.

• Suggest ideas to improve the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes, test cases etc.

• Mentor new or junior level test engineers with the processes, games setup, and understanding of overall testing objectives set for SIT team.

• Communicate effectively with Development and QA teams throughout the testing phase of the assigned game(s) and takes ownership of the game’s testing aspects until game is thoroughly tested and submitted.

• Identify opportunities for software automation, including test cases.

What We're Looking For

• Requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software test engineering, with a focus on iGaming, slot games or related industries.

• Familiarity with the iGaming industry, including gaming mechanics, user interfaces and regulatory standards.

• Experience with Browser Stack, Cross Browser Testing, or similar tools for cross-browser and cross-platform testing. 

• Demonstrated experience in planning and execution of testing activities for gaming products.

• Experience with Charles Proxy tool for inspecting and debugging HTTP/HTTPS traffic between the client and server.

• Familiarity with tools like Postman and Soap UI.

• Basic knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration.

• Basic knowledge of Sauce Labs and its integration with automation frameworks.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.

• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

• Must be able to work independently and be team oriented.
