Job Description

This position is part of the GSE BizOps team, supporting the Head of Global Solutions Engineering. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the organization. This includes overseeing employee headcount, collaborating with Finance, Office of the CTO, and HR for alignment, managing and tracking OKRs, and analyzing engagement data. The role requires creating reports, presentations for senior leadership, and implementing solutions for process improvement. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and ensure smooth operational processes. The role involves a lot of collaboration with different teams and stakeholders.

Job Summary:

This position is part of the GSE BizOps team, directly supporting the Head of Global Solutions Engineering. The Operations team is newly established and is responsible for managing the operational aspects of the organization, including OKRs, budget, headcount, organizational health and culture, and ensuring smooth operations in all aspects of the org.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and track employee headcount across various departments.
  • Work with the Chiefs of Staff in the GSE organization to create transparency and better overall management of headcount.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, the Office of the CTO, and HR to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for resource allocation based on headcount data.
  • Organize and manage GSE-wide engagement initiatives, events, and surveys.
  • Analyze engagement data to identify areas for improvement and work with the Chiefs of Staff across the org to create actionable plans.
  • Supervise the creation, tracking, and alignment of OKRs across GSE.
  • Develop and maintain systems to monitor progress toward organizational goals.
  • Continuously evaluate business operations for areas of improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing actionable insights to improve business performance.
  • Work with HR, Finance, CoS, CTO office, and GSE leadership to ensure smooth operational processes.
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Unified Operations: Develop and implement standardized processes to unify team operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Visual Storytelling: Translate complex ideas into clear, visual narratives to facilitate understanding and decision-making.
  • Accountability Tracking: Monitor and track organizational OKRs to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Support Head of GSE: Assist in managing human capital, budget, and organizational strategies to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in planning, business operations, or project management.
  • Proven expertise in Excel and data integration is a must.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Experience in managing human capital and budgets.
  • Ability to develop and implement standardized processes.
  • High delivery focus with an emphasis on task ownership and completion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and creating high-quality, executive-level presentations.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $111,500 to $191,950
