Join our Vision One Network Security team as a Sr. Software Engineer to design, implement, test, deploy, and support our cutting-edge, Zero Trust Secure Access product portfolio. We seek a developer with outstanding programming skills, a deep understanding of software design, and a passion for exploring and adopting new technologies. You will lead architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers, drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the security of our customers’ networks.

Position Summary:

Join our Vision One Network Security team as a Sr. Software Engineer to design, implement, test, deploy, and support our cutting-edge, Zero Trust Secure Access product portfolio. We seek a developer with outstanding programming skills, a deep understanding of software design, and a passion for exploring and adopting new technologies. You will lead architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers, drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the security of our customers’ networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in short sprints with your team to deliver regular business and customer outcomes.
  • Apply DevOps principles for regular deployment in small batches that deliver continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities with a focus on high-impact outcomes.
  • Monitor and maintain the health and availability of production services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers across multiple time zones, effectively and sustainably.
  • Assist our customers to ensure they achieve the full value of the solutions you have helped to deliver.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

  • Interest in applying your software development expertise to highly secure, high-performance and highly reliable network security solutions.
  • Several years of full-time software development experience, with a focus on backend processes.
  • Expertise in developing Kubernetes applications using Golang and Python, especially in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Proficiency in building scalable applications in cloud-native settings.
  • Experience developing microservices, REST APIs, event-driven and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code and related tools such as Terraform.
  • Demonstrated ability in automated testing, production monitoring/observability and secure coding.
