Synechron is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to improve the reliability and operational efficiency of their ServiceNow SaaS platform. The role involves working within a global team, implementing automation, monitoring, and incident management best practices. Responsibilities include improving system reliability and performance through automation, troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow and infrastructure issues, developing and maintaining observability tools, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to documentation and process improvements.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in software development or ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team and establish relationships
  • Strong commitment to client service
  • Ability to respond effectively during emergencies
Good to have:
  • ServiceNow administration skills
  • Experience in the financial services sector is not required

Synechron recherche un ingénieur en fiabilité de site (SRE) expérimenté pour améliorer la fiabilité et l'efficacité opérationnelle de notre plateforme ServiceNow en mode SaaS. Informations Complémentaires*
Le salaire de base pour ce poste variera en fonction de la géographie et d'autres facteurs. Conformément à la loi, le salaire de base pour ce poste s'il est pourvu à Montreal est de 70,000 $ CAD à 80,000 $/an et avantages sociaux (voir ci-dessous).

Responsabilités :

  • Améliorer la fiabilité et la performance du système grâce à l'automatisation et aux améliorations opérationnelles.
  • Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes liés à ServiceNow et à l'infrastructure.
  • Développer et maintenir des outils de surveillance et des tableaux de bord.
  • Participer aux rotations de garde et à la gestion des incidents.
  • Contribuer à la documentation et à l'amélioration continue des processus.

Exigences :

  • 2+ d'expérience professionnelle dans un domaine lié.
  • Expérience dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants :
    • Développement logiciel (par exemple, Python, JavaScript).
    • Administration ou développement ServiceNow.
    • Gestion et dépannage d'infrastructure (Linux, APIs, bases de données).
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.
  • Capacité avérée à établir des relations collaboratives et à travailler efficacement en équipe.
  • Fiable avec un fort engagement envers le service client et l'excellence opérationnelle.
  • Capacité à répondre efficacement lors d'urgences techniques ou de pannes.

Préféré, mais pas obligatoire :

  • Compétences en administration ou développement ServiceNow (formation disponible pour les candidats retenus).
  • Une expérience dans le secteur des services financiers n'est pas requise ; tous les candidats issus de tous secteurs sont encouragés à postuler.
  • Solides compétences en dépannage et expérience en automatisation.
  • Familiarité avec les outils et pratiques d'observabilité.

Our challenge

Synechron is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability and operational efficiency of our ServiceNow SaaS platform. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global team, implementing best practices in automation, monitoring, and incident management to ensure optimal system performance.

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal is CAD $70k – CAD $80k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Improve system reliability and performance through automation and operational enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow and infrastructure issues
  • Develop and maintain observability tools and dashboards
  • Support on-call rotations and incident response
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous process improvements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a related field
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Software development (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
    • ServiceNow administration or development
    • Infrastructure management and troubleshooting (Linux, APIs, databases)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proven ability to establish collaborative relationships and work effectively within a team
  • Dependable with a strong commitment to client service and operational excellence.
  • Ability to respond effectively during technical emergencies and outages

Preferred, but not required:

  • ServiceNow administration or development skills (training available for successful candidates)
  • Experience working in a financial services environment is not required; candidates from all industries are encouraged to apply
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and automation experience
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices
