Saviynt is seeking a Staff Accountant responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting month-end close, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in GAAP, and thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment. Key responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, bank and GL account reconciliations, assisting with financial reporting and audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and GAAP, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger.
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience in SaaS or technology environment
- NetSuite experience

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
- The Staff Accountant – General Ledger will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial
- records. This role will support the month-end close process, prepare journal entries, and assist with account
- reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in GAAP, and eager to grow their accounting
- career in a dynamic and fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger Maintenance:
- o Record and post journal entries for recurring and ad hoc transactions.
- o Assist in maintaining the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- o Prepare and update schedules to support account balances.
- Reconciliations:
- o Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- o Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Month-End Close:
- o Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- o Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Financial Reporting:
- o Provide documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits.
- o Contribute to the preparation of financial analysis and reporting packages.
- Process Improvement:
- o Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
- o Participate in system implementations and upgrades as needed.
- Compliance:
- o Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and GAAP.
- o Support audit and tax preparation activities as required.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
