We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to join our dynamic Corporate Accounting team. This remote role involves taking ownership of key accounting functions and contributing to critical financial operations. Responsibilities include leading core accounting functions, driving month-end close activities, serving as a key contact for audits, assisting in process refinement, and driving improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with foundational accounting experience ready to add value in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Must have:
  • Lead or support core accounting functions, including North America General Ledger close, global consolidation, and internal/external reporting.
  • Drive month-end close activities, including daily accounting operations, general ledger and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Serve as a key point of contact during internal and external audits, providing documentation and subject matter expertise.
  • Assist in developing and refining accounting processes and reporting to support new business activities and growth.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities for efficiency and contributing to system and workflow enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures and contribute to policy development.
  • Take ownership of special projects and initiatives assigned by the Accounting Manager.

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to join our dynamic and collaborative Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of key accounting functions and contribute to critical financial operations. This is a great opportunity for an individual with foundational accounting experience who is ready to take the next step and add value in a fast-paced, growing environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or support core accounting functions, including the North America General Ledger close, global consolidation, and internal/external reporting processes.
  • Drive month-end close activities, including daily accounting operations, general ledger reconciliations—particularly for cash and accruals—as well as intercompany reconciliations. Prepare and analyze supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as a key point of contact during internal and external audits, providing documentation and subject matter expertise.
  • Assist in developing and refining accounting processes and reporting to support new business activities and organizational growth.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities for efficiency and contributing to system and workflow enhancements, including merger and acquisition integration efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures and contribute to policy development where needed.
  • Take ownership of special projects and initiatives assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required) and an additional 2-4+ years of work experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems: Oracle/Netsuite
  • Ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities
  • Flexibility, teamwork mindset, collaborative work style and positive attitude
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet the deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills, including data consolidation, advanced formulas, and analysis
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work
  • A self-starter mindset who takes initiative

Base Salary Range: $67,150 - $82,950

This position is also eligible to participate in our performance-based annual corporate bonus plan. Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
